Apple Podcast Agreement
Metadata is the information that describes your podcast. Some things, like the title and the name of the author, you probably already know. Others, such as description and category, must be carefully looked at from a listener`s point of view. Providing accurate metadata helps you view your show in relevant user searches. The change of model is not necessarily unexpected, but it is monumental for the vibrant industry that passes on absiphoned hearing platforms with specific content on each. Apple`s rival Spotify, for example, announced earlier this year that it plans to spend $500 million on podcast-related acquisitions. He has acquired two podcast networks – Gimlet Media and Parcast – both of which make popular shows. In the future, shows from these networks will only be available via Spotify. (Spotify`s stock has dropped by at least 2%. – For each service, you may have connected up to 10 devices (but only 5 computers at most) at the same time as your Apple ID, although simultaneous streams or content downloads may be limited to a smaller number of devices, as described below under Apple Music and Apple TV. Each computer must also be licensed with the same Apple ID (to learn more about computer authorization, see support.apple.com/HT201251).
Devices can be connected to another Apple ID once every 90 days. Apps may offer content, services or features for use within these apps (“In-app purchases”). In-app purchases consumed while using the app (p.B virtual gems) cannot be transferred between devices and can only be downloaded once. You need to authenticate your account before making in-app purchases – separate from any authentication to get other content – by typing your password or using Touch ID or Face ID. You can make additional in-app purchases for 15 minutes without re-authenticating, unless you`ve asked us to request a password for each purchase or have enabled Touch ID or Face ID. You can disable the ability to make in-app purchases by following the following instructions: support.apple.com/HT201304. These suspicions of an arms race were somewhat substantiated by a Bloomberg report last summer, which drew attention to Apple`s apparently growing interest in developing its own internal podcast strategy, in part to counter spotify`s efforts. “Apple plans to fund original podcasts that would be exclusive to its audio service, according to people who are aware of the deal, increase its investments in the industry to contain competitors Spotify and Stitcher,” the report says. For many in the podcast community who are worried about a “platform war,” it seemed to indicate the worst. Application licenses will be provided to you by Apple or a third-party provider (“application provider”).
If you are a customer of Apple Distribution International Ltd. is the reseller of Record Apple Distribution International Ltd., which means that you purchase the license from Apple Distribution International Ltd. but the application is licensed by the application provider.
